NAB Architects is one of the leading design practices in Bulgaria. The company has extensive experience and are specialists in the development  and execution of original architectural and interior concepts in the retail, corporate and leisure sectors. NAB Architects have taken active role in the development, construction and supervision of different in nature and context retail chain projects, housing and office schemes, resort developments, exhibition designs, private houses and interiors, both in Bulgaria and abroad.

OUR HISTORY

NAB ( Noble Associates Bulgaria ) has been established in 1995 as a branch of Noble Associates – London. Since 1998 the business is a Bulgarian Ltd. Company.The principal architect and Managing Director of the company, Mr. Milen Staykov, has completed his   professional Architectural training in London at Kingston University and the University of Westminster under the Professorship of David Green. Before returning to Bulgaria in 2002, Mr. Staykov had more than seven years of professional experience as an Architect and Interior Designer in London.

EXPERIENCE

RETAIL
The NAB team are experts in the development and implementation of retail concepts and detailed interior designs for chains of shops and individual stores.
Our latest high-profile retail clients have been the brans of the Inditex Group – ZARA, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Oysho, for which we have successfully finished 28 shops in Shopping Malls and high-street locations.
The first ever NAB project in Bulgaria was the refurbishment of TZUM Department Store in 1997. The project was the first “moderm” Shopping Centre in Post-communist Bulgaria with total area of 29,000 sq.m.

CORPORATE
NAB has been involved in several projects for well established International Companies in Bulgaria. The ability of our team to work to strict standards, procedures, contractual requirements and the good understanding of Corporate Culture have been NAB’s clear advantage and key to success. Some of our international clients are The Coca Cola Company, Actavis, Western Union, Interbriew, Carlsberg, Samsung, Schneider Electric, Telerik, Johnson Controls.

TOURISM
In the last ten years NAB Architects have done research and designs for Sustainable Bio-farming and traditional Bulgarian Arts-and-crafts Tourism with EU funding.
We have accomplished several hotel projects in the Bulgarian Ski Resorts of Borovets and Bansko and won the competition for Coral Holiday Complex on the Black Sea coast. In 2007 NAB was appointed as one of the consultants for the Sozopol Old Harbour regeneration project.

HOUSING
We have designed over 100 000 sq.m. of different in scale and context housing projects – country family houses, villas, blocks of flats, loft conversions and mixed developments.

TELECOMS
Some of our best and most successful projects are for the telecoms and mobile network operators in Bulgaria, like Globul ( Cosmote / T-mobile ), BTC, VivaTel, Vivacom. For the Bulgarian Telecoms alone we have completed over 90 shops and showrooms.

BANKS
The design concepts and interior projects for high-street branches and offices for several Bulgarian and international banks like Raiffeisenbank, Postbank, Piraeus and DSK Bank have been very challenging and invaluable experience. We have also developed branch concepts for Western Union and C2C.

EXHIBITIONS & FAIRS
We are very proud with the beautifully executed designs of exhibition stands, installations and pavilions. Some of our clients are Audi, Porsche, VW, Postbank, Globul, Vivacom and Telerik, for which we have received several awards.
